Good Morning

by Cecilia   Jan 7, 2013

As the glorious sun blooms to a new day
And the morning dew creeps
Off satin petals
And verdant blades of grass,
I rise from my slumber
Long and lazy
Like a summer day
A midnight dream still fresh in my wake
Something sweet lingers in the air
Surrounding me like a plush blanket
Of utter pleasantness
I see your face
So long has it been!
It circles my mind
And I do not let go
I wish to stay in this daze forever
A soft, easy whisper echoes in my head
Good Morning
