by Michael D Nalley   Jan 9, 2013

If Jesus was online, and His IP address was heaven,
could He find twelve cyberfriends, trust at least eleven?
Would people come to drink, "The blood of the Lamb"
or criticize Him for trolling, and call his word spam?
Would He warmly be welcome on all the popular sites,
or would he be beaten down in the confusion of virtual fights?
Will He know us when He sees us @WWW.HOLY.NET,
or treat us like we have treated, the ones we've never met?

could He find twelve cyberfriends, trust at least eleven?

Will the code he writes in be impossible to see
So far advanced a language, made from infinity

Where two thirds the hosts of all the net accept His special plea. And the other third reject him, to blind to even see.

    My thoughts on this poem.
My guess is unless he was a popular celeb, not many would wanna be friends, not really sure if he would treat us the way we have always treated those we met online. He would make a good friend for sure since he would be turning water into wine on weekends and party like no gods. Pizza would be as free as the ocean waters.
I truly love your idea and interactive way of this poem.
    Goog one.
