When Dread Comes Knocking

by Cecilia   Jan 17, 2013

I felt a feeling
The other night
One of dread

And guess what?
I was right.

It's funny how we can sense these things,
Wait a minute-
And the door bell rings.

The thing you feared walks right inside
And you just wanna run and hide

Its been a while, he says
-Three years wasn't enough for you

But now I'm back!
And oh, the things I could do!

I'm gonna make you cry
Every night
Like when you where nine

I'm gonna make you wanna die
From now on,
Nothing will be fine.

And you just sit there
Awaiting your doom
Starting to feel the oppressive gloom

Good thing you where prepared
Separating yourself from the ones who cared

Your guest will feel right at home
Making you feel as empty as a gnome...

Try as you might
He won't go away

So you open the door
And welcome his stay.
