Visionary faces of
nightmares sing a
lullaby, porch swing
creaks with whispers,
rocking chairs sway,
as the old companion
silences his masters fears.

I'm a photograph, burned
beyond recognition,
I should be with him
now, my face of tears
grow weary, yet he
sees beauty; I simply
can not see...

Invisible
through my own eyes,
yet he knows I'm there-

This poem is so deep. I love the imagery you have created with your composition of words. I love the way you have woven a photograph into this poem.
My favourite part of this poem would have to be

Invisible through my own eyes yet he knows I'm there.

All I can say is this message is beautiful and so true. People often see the good in us when we always pick out the negative spots. I like how this can play metaphorically with a photograph as when people look at a photograph they often see things we over look.
Overall this poem was a great gripping read. The flow was smooth and easy to flow with such a deep story and message.

    Visionary faces of
    nightmares sing a
    lullaby, porch swing
    creaks with whispers,
    rocking chairs sway,
    as the old companion
    silences his masters fears.

    - master's* to show the fears belong to him. This opening to me was very darkn and eerie and I wondered why you did not place it into darkness, until I read on and then got a sense of deep depression and longing towards the end.

    I'm a photograph, burned
    beyond recognition,
    I should be with him
    now, my face of tears
    grow weary, yet he
    sees beauty; I simply
    can not see...

    - this is where I feel the sadness, that you see one thing when he clearly see's another. Self beauty is very hard to find in ourselves and often has to be stored into us by others and can take a very long time. I really liked the photography here, how it has been burned beyond recognition. It made me think of a person changing and how they no longer look the same. How they have changed and look different to the person you knew, yet inside they have not changed. Very very sad :(

    Invisible
    through my own eyes,
    yet he knows I'm there-

    - this little ending to me showed love, it showed someone who see's you for ALL you are, and loves you for it, regardless of how you see yourself.

Mixed poem of different emotions which I think represents your mind set.

    Keep writing. x
