Neighbor Rights and Neighbor Limits [Double Senryu]

by Khalid M Darwish   Feb 25, 2013

I love my neighbors
We joke with each other in
limits of respect

You love your neighbor
It's a good behavior but
don't destroy the fence

For some reason, I think of my twin's neighbor when I'm reading this. Because it's been a while since I got home.

Ah, if only some of my neighbors know about the 'fence' between one another. But not the twins, they're good kid. Apart from that, this is a beautiful writing, Khalid. I'm looking forward to read more of your 'double/chained' short poems.

This poem is neat, truly it's important to have a good relationships with those we live around; however, some boundaries need to be kept, I appreciate how this simple poem makes that point perfectly clear.
