A free spirit

by The Poet Behind The Poems   Feb 26, 2013

The sun could not out shine
how much your smile brings
Warmth to our hearts.

Imagine being at a crossroad,
you are the sign that guides us
though the darkness into magical
beams.

Forever you are apart of each and
everyone of us,you have imprinted
on my heart. With out thorns you
Have bloomed into love of
Thousands,

a rose,
an inspiration,
a mother,
a free spirit.

Your mother will love this dedication..........only joking I know it's not for your mother, couldn't resist it.
A simplistic poem that is stripped back to just a heartfelt message, no pretence, no confusing analogies just plain and simple gratitude to a person you obviously have a lot of respect for.
    great write Tony

I just noticed in this stanza:

    "though the darkness into magical
    beams."
