Leaky Faucet

by Maple Tree   Mar 9, 2013

The repetition of droplets fall like angels
into veins of suffering eyes that read
me like a book, talking in code;

to let her go.

One by one, seizing the moment
for another smile, soft "I love you"
peck on the forehead, and a quick
dash to the other side of darkness;

dripping continues to rain in the veins
of my love-

The leaky faucet is a never ending torture,
but the true evil will rage like thunder,

when all I hear is silence.

    This is so raw has Tara stated , something so
    Personal yet written so elegant , even when times are
    Hard you never lose sight of the beauty you
    Possess , Andrea you are the inspiration and
    The mother of the free spirits.

    "Your little spirits are forever with you"

    I don't want to dive into the poem because its raw and deep and I know that you needed to write this, its touching and beautifully sad, but its personal and honest...
