Sausage and Eggs

by Maple Tree   Mar 9, 2013

You sizzle under a glistening moon,
savoring your seasoned soul with a
hint of cyan, dazzling scrambled
words of romance upon yellowed
yolks of an enchanting mind.

Allow a hint of maple, coating
a sleepy mind to rest, dawn
comes early when hunger tastes
love from the breast of a
whispered emotion.

I knew this was yours because of the addition of Maple...
and it made me feel really hungry, that title, I could smell the sausages and hear them sizzling.

Loved the descriptions as well and how you used sausage and egg as a metaphor for a love that was divine to taste.
