Rant

by Thomas   Mar 11, 2013

I'm so happy
happy that I hate you.
I was shattered
when we were whole.
Lost when all was found.
Now that it's gone
I've found myself.
Underneath the muck
that was our relation I lay.
Suffocated by your wants,
your needs, your endless insecurities.
Being paraded around
become a second job.
Smile and listen.
Give handshakes and make conversation.
You wanted so much
yet I got so little.
Expressing fears and doubts
was never an option.
So thank God
it ended when it did.
That is why
I'm happy to hate you.

    Weird, (not the poem)

Rather that it made ponder about something I didn't think before. thanks for sharing.
