Princess of the Moon

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Mar 24, 2013

8th October, 2012.

Golden flicker sways divine grace
in this glimmering darkness.

A sparkle paves way for my presence
to worship the nightly serenade.

My glory resonates in this gossamer mood
instill with the hibiscus ambience.

Gesture the coppice dwellers
to ecstatic revival of the moment.

Treading in a trice of elegance allures
my blossoms to entice the blues.

Birds chirp a crystalline tune
appeasing my aura in a surreal shower.

Damsels worship my mystic beauty
upholding their springy feminity.

Men cajole to my bodily glides
stroking their intrinsic dewy pride.

Clad in subtle dexterity my natural charm
is utterly beyond a fistful amulet.

Dancing round the flames
my hair glistens in the dim as I move exotically.

The begotten exult above in the skies
is attuned to a finesse of breezy beats.

The moon blazes its blessings upon
me as I usher into its copse domain.

My discreet romance with such glint is an
honorary fusion in the shore as I lavish in its spell.

Well hello graceful poetry...this was beautiful Yakori!

Your wording is breathtaking, I adore the visual, and I got so lost in the story , truly captivated.

Loved the title, so unique, and had me questioning what type of nature poem this would even be.

    Very nicely done.
