Lonely Soul

No one can say
They understand
The way it feels
To stand alone
Without a soul
To say hello
And mean it.

The world of us
Is forever lost
Without the trust
To keep us all
Holding hands.

A soft temptation
Grips my heart
As night creeps in
To take me out
To save me from
The evil binds
That keep me in
Without a soul
For my confession.

*I decided to write a random poem so here it is. The different paragraphs don't have much of a connection and are of different lengths but I guess it doesn't matter. I am exploring a new way of writing so any tips are welcome!*
