Flickering Night

by Robert   May 12, 2013

I open my hands
Theres a ball of light
It flies around
Becomes lost, and out of sight

A few minutes pass
It re-appears
I take pleasure in this night
Where their's music to hear

From the tree's and the grass
To the sky, and the sea
The wind blows on steady
My eyes try not to blink

The light steadily vanishes
But the music continues to play
A very soft tune that lets you wonder
If these nights will always stay

This has a very nice dream-like, fantasy feeling to it, with the ball of light (like an orb) and the music and the sky and the sea. Was this inspired by a dream?

Yes, it was sparked by my imagination, and a dream that I had had.

Ah, I m finally ending my cliche comment, this time my favorite part was the third stanza where there is the mention of the sea and where the wind blows.

    Theres a ball of light
    It flies around

^^ on this line I think theres should be there's.
