Death comes

by Kelwin lost in thought   Jun 19, 2013

Death
comes knocking at my door
he comes not for me
but for the ones I loves
he tempts me
he fills my heart with pain
making me want it to come for me
but he only tells me
it's not your time
as he is taking my friends
my family
why not me
one who calls for him
me
the one who has been hurt way to many times
death
is laughing at me
he laughs as he cause me indescribable pain
death
I'm the one who's calling your name
yet he does not answer

I love how you portrayed "Death" as an actual being, like a person and not just something that occurs

Hmm. I like the emotion in this.

It's sad and yet so true. Life and death are so fragile and it can be taken from someone so quickly. And it is always the people who deserve it the least.

And you constantly find yourself asking, "hey, why not me? I'm the one who wants to be gone."

It is such a thin line.

I love this poem and it works perfectly.
