The Queen's Ogre

by RainbowSlider   Sep 20, 2013

She lays by his side.
The tears are cried.
She cries for another.
He cries only for her.

She can't sleep alone.
Softly she will moan.
Touch is not allowed.
But not thinks crowd.

Ogre hurts from respect.
Queen hurts from neglect.
He loves her so much.
She loves another's touch.

But he is her true fan.
She sees another man.
Ogre wants to comfort.
Queen's brew effort.

Another case consumed.
The crying is resumed.
Tears fall on the pillows.
Beautiful weeping willows.

Another makes her cry.
She is tells Ogre why.
Ogre tries not to pry.
Sleep fights to try.

No sleep tonight, again.
She calls him her friend.
Sees her drown sorrow.
She fears another tomorrow.

She calls her abuser.
He is the confuser.
Her tears are Ogre's pride.
Abuser not allowed her inside.

Only Ogre allowed to feel her pain.
That is why Ogre is allowed to remain.
The abuser can have her body.
Her heart is Ogre's custody.

The dragon best be aware.
For the Ogre knows care.
He tries his best to spare.
Her smiles are Ogre's share.
