It was the look you gave to me when I tried to explain a heart could be empty yet full to burst at the same time.
You thought everyone was looking for an excuse to leave and I was using that as mine.
Your mind was limited to the landscapes you could see whereas I thought it was possible to be in three places all at once.
And we could call it a day now or keep struggling on for months.

I was thinking about the way we only have twenty-six letters but we keep finding new ways to hurt each other with them
But you couldn't quite see where I was going and for me the beauty was in the knowing
You could give as good as you got and it all got boring the minute I found out
you could not.
