Pokemon, Battle, and Love

by Jack Nightengale   Jan 26, 2014

Two trainers stand face to face,
Their hearts racing to the battles pace.
She sends out her Charizard,
He smiles and plants his feet hard.

"Dragonite, I choose you!"
These words turned her blue.
The Pokemon battled with all their might,
Neither one is ready to give up this fight.

"Flamethrower!", "Hyper Beam!",
A stand still battle it would seem.
The Pokemon touch the ground,
The trainers make sure that no one else is around.

They step up and hold each others hand,
Returning their Pokemon as they continue to a new land.
New Pokemon and challenges make them fatigue,
But, together they await to challenge the Pokemon league.
