Shattered Wedding Dreams

by LittleMsPink   Mar 6, 2014

There's this tale of a girl
Who walks alone at night
On the isle of a church
Abandoned with no lights

She appears like a mist
When no one is around
Taking each step slowly
Not making any sound

Shes wearing a veil,
A long wedding gown,
A ring around her finger,
And the most painful frown

There's a rose in her hand
She holds it tight and dear
Buried are the torns
With her crimson bloody tears

..... Taking each step,,,

On the isle of the church
Her lover's long far gone

This soul is still in search

I agree with RainyDays. I really liked how dark it came out when talking about a topic that most times is considered lovely or beautiful. I really enjoyed the dark twist.
