My dear child

by Blackbird   Mar 6, 2014

My dear child,
I'm sorry I gave up.
I wasn't in a nice place,
Things ended so abrupt.

My dear child,
I wish you were here now,
I never got to hold you,
Or feel you kick inside.

My dear child,
You would of turned just three,
If mammy wasn't such a selfish cow,
You would be here now with me!

My dear child,
My heart is full of regret,
I wish I could turn back time,
And hold you to my chest.

My dear child - I love you!
Although, we never met.
I hate myself everyday,
I'll always live with regret.
