These words that Jesus spoke
in John's gospel addressing Thomas
after this disciple's weakness of faith
challenges us in Jesus discipleship class
For God has and will abundantly bless
those who by faith believe upon Him
by trusting in His infallible inerrant word
being filled by God's Holy Spirit to the brim
This I believe about the living God
who indwells me by His Holy Spirit
working in me to grow in His likeness
so for heaven I will be fit
I don't have any physical evidence
of meeting with Jesus in bodily form
but my relationship with my saviour
protects me in life's storm
