Snip & Sever

The connection between her and I, like a stream, only broken when you say goodbye

I laid out curled up on the bed with slow and depressing love poems playing through my head.

I looked at you as if I loved thee, so there was a part of you in me.

But you weren't alone too, so there was no part of me in you.

I was frustrated and saw you standing there. with a stream coming from me going into you, for of this part of me I didn't care.

I pulled a sword from the sheathe and I broke the stream. Just then a shot of guilt went through me as I heard you scream.

I didn't touch you, you still stood straight, I then realized I no longer looked at you as a mate.

I straightened up with broken glass on my hands, and I walked away watching other people streaming their strands.
