Poem of Long Lost Love (Meant To Be)

by LoneWolf   Apr 23, 2014

It was a long time ago,
When we were much younger
Maybe too young as some may claim...

Both of us met on the street I lived, the summer driving forth untamed.

It wasn't the first time we met, we already knew each other from before.

I'd known her since the fifth grade, we were both pretty outrageous.
A girl sitting the younger children I knew across the street.
I spend most of my summer alone and completely secluded, so it's really odd when someone else and I meet

We spent the summer together just hanging out, for once something social came into my life.
It was new to me that someone was here, something pulled me away from the social strife.

We met back up at the end of the summer at school only in the seventh grade.
I sat behind her in a class teaching students character, I felt as if her and I were made (to be)
