Jesus loves you

I know we all doubt it sometimes
I myself often ask God why
When the whole world has fallen down
And you feel like by yourself you have to pick up your life
Now so crumbled its pieces of sand
All that's left are beyond hopeless to repair remains
But God loves you
And He proved it
How showed us all
He showed you

Jesus loves you

How many of us could go through unbearably pain
As robes,
Wipes,
Pieces of Glass
Stone
Metal
Where lunched into your flesh
And ripped away
For a beating that would seem never to end
When he was sinless
When he had done no wrong
Never hurt a fly
Never broke a heart

Then was nailed to that cross
Hanging for hours
Days
Taunted
And bullied by those who stood under him
And died
For Us
Because Jesus
Loves Us

He died so He can be with you
To spend time with you
To know you
He died
Suffered through all that pain
Every punch
Hurtful word
And deep gash
With you on his mind
Fighting through the pain for you
Because of His love for YOU
Jesus Loves You

    He died that we might live through Him. Our part is to live like He loved. Heart of Sacrifice, who can lend?

    Good one Cathy! I remember reading that those who love the Lord cannot stay far from him. Your poem reminds me of the poem I wrote about Jesus called "Just an ordinary day". Your poem reflects the worlds best love story of the rich one who became poor for us. As you wrote he knew no sin but took the punishment we all deserved, the just dying for the unjust. Ken

    Well done! U definitely captured the truth that Jesus loves us. I do like how u were not afraid to talk about the brutal details of His suffering its seems that many people try to sugar coat the death burial and resurrection of our Saviour. I gave it 5 good job!
