Blitz

You kept wondering
when will peace take over
all the chaos,
then I made you realize
that chaos has already
conquered our peace
when your eyes fired me
with silent struggle.

You unwrapped your arms
to dig a hole and entomb the ruin,
but the load was too heavy
and so was our mess.

    Great poem!

    It flows beautifully and I love the metaphores. Nice message too, It is true that sometimes we get too deep in a relationship that we don't want to let go, yet we don't realise how distructive it has been to us.
