Insanity

by Alanis   Sep 8, 2014

She was trapped insider her mind, closed with her soul. Her heart was locked within a box of lies and trust was no longer a virtue worth pursuing. She wasn't lonely, she simply enjoyed the silence that drown out the desperation of the hopeless. There was comfort within the solitude and security among the household walls. She sought after the nature of the lost but refused to be considered such. She found herself within the lyrics of simple songs, refusing to be subject to complexity. She refused the friendship of by passers for her beaten heart could no longer handle the pain of their remorseless deceit. She continues through a labyrinth of emotion and self discovery but she was certain of her direction, for she knew who she was with in the chaos.
