A prayer

I got down on my knees and prayed to a god that i didn't think exited

i prayed to have you back in my arms and feel your embrace

i prayed that i would never hurt your heart again

i prayed to give me strength to put the knife down

i prayed to be able to look into your face

i prayed that everything would work out right

BUT the biggest thing i prayed for was THAT I WOULD GET TO HAVE YOU IN MY LIFE ONCE MORE
