The Scar of Love

by Oluwaseye Olayode Taiwo   Feb 4, 2015

How deep is the scar of love?
So deep than the deepest ocean
and so hot like hell.
You inflict upon me the regret of yesterday
and fill my heart with so much sorrow
yet yesterday is gone forever
yesterday, today future Oh scar of love!

Oh scar of love!
Oh scar of love!
Why filled my heart with despair
what I couldn't have or achieve
downcasted and frazzled
Ponder all day long of the waste
behind me rather than the hope before me.

My heart cry kaso!,Kasoo!
All night long for the scar I look upon
I refused to let down, frustrated, and bereaved
I refused to remember the battle of love that have lost
I choose to rather remember the battle of love have won

And has I look upon you today
O scar of love
Let the blessed memory of love of yesterday, today,
And tomorrow make my heart cry
melo! meloo! melooo!
As I forever will be lost and not be found in this love
I embrace dear to my heart today, oh scar of love!
N.B:Kaso means cry of sadness while melo means cry of Joy
