Something in the air

by Dancing Rivers   Apr 27, 2015

Something in the air-
draws me into a dark abyss-
of melancholic musings.

Something in this dense air-
something oh-so-twisted-
posses me to walk into my darkest dreams.

Something in the night,
calls to my primal being,
whispering of fiery-icey hunts

Running barefoot over hills and crags,
staring into some dark depths,
tasting the scent of lust,vengeance.

Something in this sickly air,
twists my mortal soul,
posses me to unleash,

The lowly human in me.

Wow, primal indeed. Great use of alliteration too.
