Star dazzled

by Dancing Rivers   Apr 27, 2015

What a night! What a whimsical sight!
Suave and handsome, tuxedo-smile,
My eyes brushed passed your silhouette.
Not for a minute, just a while.

We walked arm in arm,
traipsing through the dark woods,
I fell for your youthful charm.
Fell into a pool of tranquil bliss.

We strolled down dark paths,
playing make-believe,
Smiling at nothing,
Drinking to the moment.

A puff of the joint,
A smokey haze of memories,
We danced arm-in-arm
Our eyes telling stories.

If I'd only leaned up just a little,
Our lips,smiling lips,
Would have met in matrimony,
Marrying our dreams.

So young and handsome you are,
My delightful young prince,
You carried me down the sandy path
A boy and a girl, a night,
A dance, a smile
