Consumed Alternatives (Senryu)

This is such an interesting senryu. I like it a lot, For most people we choose to listen or not to listen to other people and that in itself can affect how our moods are going to be. and that in itself makes this a senryu. I love the first line for its ability to make the reader connect to you, because in life we all go through judgment. We get judged for our actions. We let go to forgive the pain we have inside, but when we lose that pain, it is okay to stay. I think this could be written for a lot of different things, but I think it is a relationship maybe? Which brings out our feelings the most it seems. But there is a lot of happiness within your words, which of course makes me think you are happy that you stayed. Anyways this poem is great for making an impact on the reader and the short verse creates lines of powerful meaning. 5/5
