The Snake Hidden on the Rose

by Everlasting   May 19, 2015

Hi pretty frog,
Why do you jump and jump on this hose?
Can you not see
that I'm watering the plants?

Hey pretty frog,
Why do you croak and croak so loud?
Can you not hear
the cardinals are singing above us,
in that olive branch?

Hi pretty frog,
Why do you turn redder with my words?
Can you not feel
the greenness of the trees
dispersing in my voice?

Hey pretty frog,
Why are you chasing after a fly?
Can you not see
the fly is flying to the red rose?
And soon,
in its petals, you'll get lost?

---

Hi Pretty Frog,
Why aren't you jumping and jumping on this hose?
can you not see
that I'm watering the plants?...

Interesting thought of write. I've always looked at the hose as a snake while watering the plants and used to think how the other animals see it. I guess they know and they go on with life!
