I Used To Write Poetry

I used to write Poetry,
But over time I let it slip,
I did everything else,
Just to fit
In.

Years later,
Here I am returning to the
Same old
"Tryna find a word that rhymes",
Shit.

    I think a few of us can equate with this one. :)

    A nice introduction, open honest and well written. Don't fit in, just do what feels right and let the muse flow.

    Nothing quite so refreshing as an honest and frank poem. Might i advise that you tap into your subconscious poet and write for the sake of your soul rather than the sake of impressing ignorant people? You never know, you might find that you truly are a poet after all ;)
