Dec 5 -Reminder to Self

by Everlasting   Dec 5, 2015

You are too young and too much of an amateur
to be looking for clues where there are none.

Instead, my dear,
just do what you have been doing all along;
write what you feel, feel what you write,
and let your imagination run wild...

In due time,
you'll come to know
where creativity
is born.

    When our inner gut let's us know that something isn't right it usually is. Sometimes we turn to others for advise and all it does make it worse. Well written

    Hello,

    This is inspiring and new. We often look to others for words of wisdom, but the reality is this: we know what is right and wrong. We often ignore our gut feeling, the warning sirens in our heads and lead with our hearts. This poem reminds us, this reader that sometimes the best advice comes from within - we only have to listen...

    A couple of tips if you want them...

    You are too young and too much of an amateur
    to be looking for clues where there are none.

    Instead, my dear,
    ^
    Capital

    just do what you have been doing all along;
    ^
    semicolon

    write what you feel, feel what you write,
    and let your imagination run wild...
    ^
    full stop, or as I like to do '...' to show a pregnant pause...

    in due time,
    ^
    Capital or no change depending on the choice in the previous line.

    you'll come to know
    where creativity
    is born
    ^
    full stop.

    Very good and a message that we all need to absorb: Listen to our hearts as it is often the wisest one we will hear.

    Take care,

    Michael
