Yearning (senryu)

King Arthur comes to my mind when I read this but its an inbuilt desire not only for men for women too! To conquer, to give that boost to oneself that "I can do" or "I did it". We all have gone through that moment and at times its just that yearning to prove the others wrong!

A simple message or rather an inborn trait you have laid out here in three lines...good one!

Hello Larry,

What is it about men and challenges? We see a mountain and we have to climb. We see the moon and we have to go there. Once there we want to go further. It begs the question will we ever quench our desire to conquer? Sometimes its enough to step make and just marvel.

This poem has a ton of messages within.. that is what I love about small poems...

I feel like this poem speaks of every mans strength and determination to pull the sword out of the stone.. strength and honor :-)
