Chances Are:

by Scott Cole   Feb 12, 2016

The odds stacked against us
Slim chance at that,
You'll meet your soul-mate
Or even chitchat.

There are so many people
Living different lives,
With so many places
You'll have to drive.

To be in the spot
On that very day,
That God has chosen
And we often preyed.

Somewhere out there
Is my better half,
That one in a billion
That makes me laugh.

A couple lonely hearts
Seeking true love,
A perfect match
That fits like a glove.

You are the one
The love of my life,
That of my dreams
My future wife.

If the odds are good
Chances much better,
Two sets of wishes
With the same endeavor.

Find our soul-mate
That one among billion,
Settle down get married
And show off our children.

Smile every smile
Say our love yous,
Cherish every second
And always be true.

If all that happens
We beat the odds,
If we pull it off
God did a good job.
