A Crayola Break-Up:

by Scott Cole   Apr 29, 2016

Oh my blue eyes are wet and weary
And red from all the tears I've cried,
My clear skies are slightly stained
Those pearly whites around my eyes.

The shadows of my black eyelashes
Blocks the yellow glare from the Sun,
To my very core I'm green with envy
For my pale heart can't be outdone.

My hair is golden brown and husky
Hangs to middle of my pink forehead,
Concealing every one of my true colors
All those sad thoughts inside my head.

Scott, this is so beautiful and sad. It gave me goose bumps because grief is something we will all feel in our lifetime and it hurts but we will all grieve differently to each other. Some of us cry, some of us get angry, hell some of us show no emotion at all. You portrayed how the majority of people grieve well.

    Take care, Em
