Above are my suggested punctuation and grammar corrections. Definitely loved this Senryu. Short, but there are very few souls who can't relate to this writing! You're on a day shift and I am on a night shift, and even I was asleep before you :P Perhaps some melatonin will do the trick? It works for me, though it takes an hour to kick in.

At any rate, fix the errors and it will be a well-deserved 5!

Naomi, this is a very relatable write and so often we will lie awake at night with sleep prevailing us because of thoughts well I know I do. I have a really bad insomnia problem so I can really relate to this.
The worse part is when you get to sleep an hour before your alarm is set and still wake up before it :/
