My try at an alphabetical

A long day
Begins the same as others;
Cats pawing at face wanting food.
Ding, ding of the alarm..
Everyone else left earlier,
for their various jobs.
Getting up is taking longer than normal.
Hating these late nights.
Insomnia sucks!
Just let me have one good night of rest.
Kitties start to meow in face.
Laughing at their cute faces.
Must get up..
Not yet my brain says.
Only 2 more minutes wont hurt?
Pushes off blankets.
Questions run through my mind.
R u getting up?
Stop procrastinating.
The boss won't mind you being sick..
Under the bed, slippers are found.
Various clothes across the floor.
Won't you do washing already?
X-it the bedroom, changed. Feed cats.
Y did I leave so late?
Zoom to work..
