Once again I failed
To keep a promise I made
I promised I'd be here for you
Yet I let you run away

Not a message received
You havn't made a sound
Disappeared into thin air
No trace of you can be found

I'm sorry I wasn't there for you
Like you always were for me
All I can do is pray to non existant gods
And hope your finally ready.

Ready to come back
Be my friend again
Encourage me and push me hard
Tell me my life shouldnt end.

You aren't the first this week to run
I guess that saying is true.
I promise its all me
And its not you.

Ive let so many friends leave
And been too worried about me
Im selfish, i get it now
I should just let you be.

I push people away
Im too scared to let them in
I guess i did the same to you
Im sorry, my friend, kim.

    As Em says, we all make mistake but the trick is owning up to them and trying to make sure we don't make them again.
    Life is certainly easier with friends and this is a great way of trying to recover a friendship - honesty.
