    Hello Naomi

    This is a lovely little senryu and yes, 'secure' has two syllables. 'fire', 'liar' ,'dire' etc are all examples of tricky words - one syllable but sound like two.

    The last line is missing a syllable, if you're going for a Senryu, but other than that I definitely am in need of arms wrapped around me after the nightmares I endured last night. Hope you get to sleep tonight, darling!

      For some mindless half awake reason i counted secure as 3 syllabals =/ its fixed now. And middnight and no sleep. Lol im trying again now! Seems we all need a cuddle
