I see you're pushing boundaries here...

And I like it. Word's are like paint, it's how we use them that makes the difference between, a simple collection of ramblings, or in this case, a simile of how you feel your poems affect emotions.

The moon has a magnetic pull that creates an irresistible feeling of wonder. No matter how many times we gaze up we still feel the same. Likening the moon's light to your poetry says one thing to me: I better wear shades!! Lol
