Forever ended just too soon.

by saggi   Oct 12, 2016

I sit in my empty room,
feels like a forever ended just too soon.
Good friends, good life,
I need nothing more than a good blend.
But oh my pretty lass!
Your soul yearns for something perilous,
He ain't no diamond amongst the coal,
And not all man's intellectuality
can adhere the kind of accompliceship
that you seek.
A forever ended just too soon.
And with a heavy heart and
a lingering hope,
I bid you goodbye.

Within every scar healing dwells. Pain, comes to widen reasoning.

    Welcome to PnQ, Saggi

Why do people seem so often attracted to the 'perilous' kind? We really do seem to be drawn towards our own destruction far too frequently, don't we?

Great first write. All the very best,

    Ben

Yes.indeed.but I guess it is just the idiosyncratic nature of homo sapiens inherited from the ancient creatures of which we are a part.moreover, don't you think that it is the destruction that actually builds us up than the flowers and butterflies that we feel in our bellies? :)
Thank you for the appreciation though.

      Stay healthy,

    Hello Saggi,

Reading this reminds me of a girl I once befriended, but loved secretly. For 3 long years we went everywhere together, until one day she too fell in love...

With another. He too was no diamond.

A good write, well done and welcome to PnQ's.

I look forward to reading more work from you.

    Take care,

    Michael

Thank you Michael! :D even though I'm just an amateur your words have inspired me to write more and better.

      Take care,
      Saggi.
