Countryside Confinement

by Saakiel   Feb 11, 2017

Tougher heights caved the mystery,
through the wavering trails and tallest
covers hiding the sight of fear. The dense
woods no longer allow you to breathe,
shadowing a walking dream.
To get lost is an easy trick.

Inches away from drought, the playing fields
may dance along the chasing winds, but may no
longer withstand the ominous storm. For it
swallows everything, and giving in
binds you within the boundary.

But no matter,
what we are left are better days,
only if we gather all the courage
to leap beyond the border.
