Breathing in Binary

by Alex Penuelas   Feb 12, 2017

Call this old fashioned if you will,
but if I can,
I would like to
Grow old with somebody.

I want to know their dreams,
Their desires,
The things that ignite
Their inner fires.

Their families,
Their friends,
And hope the fun
Never ends.

Their loves,
their fears,
And to be there to wipe away
Their tears.

Their greatest strengths,
And their weaknesses,
Such that we can compliment one another,
Like Tetris blocks.

I want to know the real them,
The one that is hidden the first
100 dates,
The one that hides locked deep
in the glass doors that encapsulate
Their heart.

I want to build bridges with them,
and tear down their walls,
Be the person there
For all the rises and falls.

I wanna get inside of their heads.
I want to know how their
Thoughts work,
How their brain has created
Such a wonderful being.

I want to feel the blood
pulsating through their veins,
and join the highway traffic
Of blood cells as I give the oxytocin
To their heart.

And in return,
They can do the same to me.

I would love to have
such a feeling.
Sadly,
in this day and age,
all you gotta do is

swipe
left
.
.
.

This was simple and interesting. It had a very modern take on the whole finding love thing and you really gave it an interesting spin with the style.

I'm sorry I don't have much else to say, but a lot of it is similar to the previous comments I've left you.

Absolutely loved this and that ending, unfortunately so true.

It's life I suppose. This is literally how it feels to be a hopeless romantic in a superficial, almost mechanical love world.
