Long Lost Friends

by Alex Yew   Apr 26, 2017

Hey my childhood friend,
since when we have not talked,
nor exchanged messages.

Can you recall the times
we had had fun and tears?
How our study group
turned out to be a trip to a lake
15 miles away from school?

Can you remember the time
you hit the divider
while riding us to an Economics class
got too scared and you asked me to drive?

Does it still live on your mind that
you sent me a letter in 2005
wishing me happy birthday
while you were still in varsity?

Many moments had taken our breaths away
all etched in my memory.
I am thinking of you,
My friend.
