It could of been you

by Hope2932   Apr 29, 2017

We were siblings you and I
Brought up together
Playing and laughing
When did I become an
Embarsment when did I become
A joke
Was it when I started hearing
Voices,started seeing ghosts
You stopped talking to me
Pretended I wasn't there.
You buried our father
But I wasn't there
Just one thing to say to you then we are done
It could of been you easy enough to hear the voices to see the ghosts

This hit like a sledge hammer,

Not going into specifics but I will make more of an effort with my remaining family.

    Thank you for sharing

Any friend of Andrea's is a friend of mine! It must be something in the water round your way, because you display an affinity for writing like Maple does.

Well done and all the best,

    There but for the grace......
Being isolated by the family will be resonant with lots of people.
Sad but necessary write I think.
