My little angel

There isn't anything, more amazing as
when you come across, a cherished poem
of a nostalgic piece of writing.
And nice to share the moment :)

My little angel, with eyes so blue
cotton-soft skin, so fresh and new.

You are the tiny apple of my eye,
a little miracle, which makes me cry.

My tears are happiness, and such delight,
seeing such a beautiful joy,
on our very first night.

I vow to love you, with all my heart
and promise, I will always be a-part,
of your life forever and ever,
and guide you through, whatever
together.

Dedicated to my daughter Ellie, first born 17/03/1999
and just found :)

    This so reminds me of my daughter born 2 years earlier and as Milly says captures a fathers love for his first born daughter! 20 years on that love is still as strong, this poem captures that love so well bringing tears to my eyes as well. Cheers
