What are we waiting for?

My thoughts of you are consistent with beautiful, simple, sunrises and sunsets..
A complex symphony so easy to understand, *it stands out..*
*Not all swollen thumbs* are bruised and ugly, you see!?
You're an awkward perfection,
Flawed still, yet I'm floored still by your heys and your hi's..
You give tasteful thought to my thinking,
You brace my heart with a smile and take it for a spin..
Your beauty don't make sense as I stand under this understanding that maybe sense is not my best stance at understanding it..
A delight to my mind,
Your intelligence adding light to my mind..
You're a dance of endorphins and neurons..
An awakening of old memories,
Your presence playfully pestering me with the prospect of creating new ones..
A stimulus of deep feels,
like a wall of murals,
a maze of beauty,
or a thousand stories my mind can't seem to conjure..
I'm inadequate to muster these thoughts,
thoughts of an excellence such as yours..

Such can't be captured in poetry,
for even if ten minds were to think in unison,
They wouldn't do such beauty justice,
poetic justice..
but just as I drop my pen,
A feeling sinks in my heart,
Your fingerprints on it..
You have made your impressions..
First, second, third and et cetera..
I can't capture you essence,
but I'm willing to try..
It might take me a lifetime or more,
So what are we waiting for?
