This has been
The third time
That I try to
Truly tell to the state
Just how you function.

I sit here,
With multiple documents
Sent to me by the state,
That I am helping
Our mother set up in
Order to ensure that
We don't lose the funding
To take care of you, Sis.

I know,
You and I are twins,
And I have always had a
Chip on my shoulder
Because you beat me by
An eternal two minutes.

But,
That being said,
I wish that I can
Get inside your head
and tell the world around you
That your autism does not
Prevent you from being
Who you are.

I know you love movies,
And I love making them for you
And seeing you get happy
When all of your favorite shows
Are laced within the DVDs I've burned.

In fact,
As I'm writing this I have a
massive collection of your scribblings
That I'm decoding in order to
Get you the exact videos you want.

I know you like dancing,
And I am so glad that
My red Wii has given you
So many opportunities to
Play all of those dancing games
I got for you.

And I know you
Love to get out of the house,
So much so that every day
We make sure that we
All travel somewhere where you can
Feel the sun and the wind
Hit your porcelain skin
And your brown curls.

But sometimes,
(Today being one of those times),
I wish that I was like
Charles Xavier and know
Precisely how your mind works,
So that I can know
When to help, when not to help,
What you want to do, what your dreams are,
Where you want to go,
What you want your little brother
To do for you.

I don't know if you know this,
But some day, I will have to
Take care of you.
I know that it's not gonna be soon,
But it's coming.

And by that time,
I want to understand
Just how your autism has
Made you, You.

But for now,
With all of the hassles
That you cause for us "normal people",
I am, and always will be,
Glad to have you in my life.
