Battle of Insanity

by Gwenyth Hill   Sep 30, 2017

The fighting and the yelling is driving me insane.
Do they even realise that they cause me pain?
Am I just ignored by them while they continue with this war?
Or am I the only one to notice that they don't even know what their fighting for?

They all start in the same way.
And in the end they both pay.
The price is high
And they both try
To come out on top
When will this battle ever stop.

Or is it expected that it will continue
To the end of their days and far into, the future
Though unknown,
Holds an undeniable truth.
One will win
And both will suffer
But in the end
It will all depend
On how much they can take of one another.
Before one falls
And the other stands high above the other.
