Let it Out

by Alex Penuelas   Nov 4, 2017

If you ever feel like venting,
do it.

Vent without question,
Without hesitation.

Nothing hurts more than to
keep repressed feelings inside,
bottled up and silently waiting for
"the right moment" to explode.

You see,
The issue with that is that
There never is a "right moment".

That moment in which you explode
Is more often than not
At the most inconvenient time,
Placing lots of unwanted emotions
And words that you can't take back
Out to the person that is
Most likely the one that
Supports you the most.

If you vent right at the base,
the situation at hand
can be dealt with
much easier and with less strife.

And furthermore,
Don't let anyone tell you
that you are weak for crying.

That. Is. Nonsense.

Crying is catharsis in liquid form.
Crying allows for you to
Refocus on what you need to do
To better your situation.

But you can't do that
With all the horrible feelings
Inside of you.

So let it out.

I hope you're able to take your own advice. It's a lengthy piece but it's clear ot comes from your heart and hit's home so that's really anything any of us could ask from your writing.
